From the start we were interested in two things, first and foremost was; What would be the most helpful to Shelby? Shelby told us that our probing him about what he is doing would be the most helpful. This lead to the second point about what style of interview would facilitate this goal best. We all agreed that a conversational approach would be best.
Format:
This presentation is an interview of Shelby Davis by Sandy Sampson and Rebecca Shelly. It is a montage of conversations taken from a studio visit, a walk in the woods and a separate online blog were everyone discussed artist interviews and what was influencing Shelby.
